I've been pretty focused on this build for the past 3 months. I have been into overland camping since back in 2012 when I bought my first truck camper, a 2004 Four Wheel Camper Hawk that I had on the back of my 2001 Toyota Tundra. Since that first camper I have dove into the deeps of camper modification, I've been building this Land Cruiser over the past two years ago. It is a 1997 FZJ80 in which I've installed a 5.3L Vortec V8 motor out of a 2001 Chevy Silverado (some call it an LS swap). I then cut the rear body off and spent the better part of a year building a custom aluminum popup camper with all the bits inside. It houses a queen sized bed with memory foam mattress, sink with working faucet, cassette toilet, fridge and camp stove. We'll see you in Baja!
